I'll tag in on this thread too....

Once upon a time in a land far far away, I used to 'do' eventing. Competed up to Novice, and jumped all the big boys toys, but could never get my head around that stupid stuff before the jumping started. Ironically (after I saw "the light" and walked towards it) I now compete straight dressage. I have an Advanced/GP horse who has started me on the path to god knows what (much to my parents horror!). I also have two talented youngsters. One lacks a brain, the other lacks maturity, so we are going to motorbike our way through the season, while my older darling will hopefully be the stalwart that stops me from throwing myself off a cliff at some point during the season!

Erm, not only do we have those three, there is a broodmare, 2 young horses, and lots of others that are floating around that are leased out teaching people, or popping out babies left right and center. So erm yeah, lots of ponies...

Oh - and some of you will know me already as Kerry - Christchurch wink

Hey Kerry! And might I say, Kerry understands my frustration or instructors who are the ambulance at the bottom of the cliff re teaching the RIDER to ride *sigh* Saskia had better pick on ME next week or I'll scream!

Oh and here's me too! Currently got a rising 3 year old (although technically 3) clyde tb cross whom I've just broken in. He's about to go on a few months turn out, and for the season I'm borrowing a friends lovely gelding. Ridden to prenovice ht, elementary dressage, thats about it. Oh and I have a husband and 3 little children of the human variety, aged 6 (twins) and 8 1/2. And I work full time. We live on a lifestyle block 5 min out of Wanganui. Thats about it I think!! :o)

Hi all smile I'm Kirsty, and I have a 12 year old TB gelding who can turn his hoof to anything (except hoofball :p). I'm two years back riding after 8 years off, and my dear jumping schoolie is showing me the ropes and I'm trying to turn him into a dressage horse instead! Oh, and the love of my horse's life is Karen's donkey Penny smirk So disturbing!

hey chicky babe! A lot of people had some time off riding huh? I had about 8 yrs off when my old boy retired with ringbone. Got back into it in 2002 when I got the nervous nelly TB Roger.

Really enjoyed that break from it actually, dogs were so much easier to just chuck in the car and take off to a show LOL

Yeah KA, wish I could say I did something constructive with my time back then, but an awful lot of it involved shopping frown

Well, I am here too :o) I have Diesel, a black 2 (technically 3) year old Clyde X who is not ready to be broken in yet. Just too immature still and I am in no hurry. Have owned him since he was 7 months old. He is a dude and I absolutely adore him. We live in Dairy Flat on 8 acres. Got two human kids, age 11 and 5 so they keep me real busy too. Hey everyone ***waves madly****
