It has rained all day here. Wish we would get a warm/dry spell so my new grass can germinate! Why do we get about 6 months of rain now and then we'll probably have a drought November thru to March..?

stopped here too, puddle had already decreased in depth when I went out at 6.30 to shift the tape.

Anita you gotta think how much WORSE the drought would be if we didn't get this rain now! Warm will be here any day now

Guess it also solves the problem of "too much grass" for Molly. Can now put her in a sprayed off paddock full of weeds and tell her to go wild!

well the rain and cold have finished for now! Was a STUNNING warm day today

I saw the sun - was awesome - I actually got a bit burnt on the back of my neck at show hunter today (My girl was a star)

She was a good girl - there were an amazing amount of people - as it was the last in the series and such a nice day...

she got a 5th in one round (Out of 35 people so was stoked), we were 6th in equitation (Which I dont usually do) and had a rail in the last round. She was jumping with really good form though and only added in one line (She usually adds a lot when jumping on the sand)

whats equitation???

as oppose to hunter classes which is entirely based on the horse equitation is completely based on the rider - It usually consists of around 8 jumps - will have a halt, at least one change of rein, and a trot fence



we actually pulled our halt of about three strides out from the fence

heck no! We are drought prone and on ancient old river bed so VERY quick draining! don't really ever get too much rain!
