How difficult would it be to have dual formats for this site ? as in, a flat page like "the other" board as well as the existing format, so the poster can choose which format to read? Just thinking that when people are at work, everytime a topic is clicked, that's one visit that clocks up should there be any lan police monitoring users. The flat page format is only one visit for multiple topics and you can just scroll past the ones you don't want to read.

awwh, I'm already set up in flat mode and its not flat enough lol. What I meant was like the other board, where all the threads and their replies are displayed on a flat page. This means that you don't have to click on the thread name to read it (and clock up one visit for the lan police to count) The whole thread and all replies are displayed like a sheet. All you have to do is read them by scrolling down with the mouse (not by clicking to go into it)in one go and scroll past the threads you don't want to read.

oh well, never mind. was just a thought. A lot of workers get monitored now for their internet visits.

at least you can get the first post by hovering over it, should save going in unnecessarily as you can get the gist of it at least?
