Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi.
My name's Tracy & i'm a mum of 1. I have 1 horse that i am riding for a friend, she is a 5yr old standard bred Katalina or Kat for short. I backed her late last year - she had been on the track before we got her lol

Hi and welcome Tracy smile

Is Kat destined for great things??? Or is she gonna be a pleasure hack?

Yeah thats kat with my son.
I'm hoping to do some jumping with her as she seems to like pole work and possibly try eventing (have to get her over that fear of water though)will also be doing some showing.
hoping to have her ready for next summer showing season

tried her in a standing martingale last night to try & stop her getting her head up to rear. It seemed to work really well, once Kat realized that she couldn't get her head up she took to bucking for next 10 min but settled down once she found that she couldn't shake me off. Got in my 1st days proper schooling for 2 weeks. fingers crossed we keep improving now smile

rather you than me! I don't do bucking and probably don't do rearing either (never been on a rearing horse LOL)

I have no glue!
