Hannah & Grace in 12th place

Lesley Buckleigh,Team Manager, reports from Frankfurt:
Hannah turned into the arena with a woosh and a bang and the percentage counter clocked up a 67%. Grace decided that there was a
monster in the corner on the first turn and proceeded to put on the brakes for a movement or two bringing the counter down
to the 63-64% mark. During her canter work her percentages started to swing between 60 and 63% bringing her a final total of 62.5%.
Hannah sat with some pretty smart company = USA Kassandra Barteau and her georgous stallion clocked up a 63.3, Canada's Amy Jager a 61.1 Frances Camill Judet 62.94 Britains Charles Hatton on 64.94 and Italy's Riccardo Sanavio 65.78.
The reigning champion Diederick Van Silfhout of the Nederlands 66.7. The others ranged in score from 68 through to the winner on 70.3% Lotje Schoots from Nederlands.

We are all happy and looking forward to tomorrow

Today's test was a warm up. Hannah starts at number 1 at 9.40 tonight NZL time (the horse originally drawn one has been withdrawn) in the qualifying round for the Freestyle which will determine if she rides in the A or B Final for the Freestyle.

All I can say is what an awesome job Hannah and Grace have done. They placed 5th in the B final yesterday. To even be there is a HUGE achievement. To be there and be close to the big-uns is even cooler. You look at the breeding of those horses (and the fact that many are bought schoolmasters) and think that she brought Grace right through herself and has rather unfashionable breeding - HUGE ups to her!

She will surely be one to watch for the future smile

how many were in the B final Kerry, do you know?

I know at the end of the qualifying she was 13th (last I think?)

Just wondering how many were in each of the finals...

She's done very well and on a Zactac (Blenheim) bred horse laugh

Don't think there were hugely many? Maybe only 6? I don't care - she still did awesome. In Round 1, she is 2% behind Kassandra Barteau (riding a stallion that was pre-trained to that level I believe). She is 4% behind Germany, Holland and Belgium riders - holy crap, that is huge! (2/3 of which were on schoolmasters I think). The Holland person was also the reigning champ from last year... hopefully this is a sign that we are on the improve, and can start to paddle in "the big kids pool"
