A friend of mine has just re done her legal wishes etc and has gifted me her once in a life time horse if anything ever happened to her. Amazing special gift, and I mean the fact that she trusts me that much, as much as the gift of a horse.

Got me thinking though, what would happen to mine if I was not around to make the decisions.

Anyone else got their horses/animals sorted out in their Wills?

don't even have a will yet, and to be honest I don't know what to do with Mac, being the special child he is... I would love him to go to a friend up the road, but I don't think she'd be patient enough to work thru the initial lack of trust...

Smokey could/would be sold unless Marcus is riding by then and needing a pony. Roger the paddock ornament, well I hope he'll be dead by then, but otherwise I think hubby could safely keep him alive till he goes.

Well Shaun doesnt want ponies, so a mate would get to either have Billy or find him a suitable home as a lease and keep an eye on him... Abbs would be sold or given away.... sad to think about, but important to sort

Prada goes to mum and dad on the condition that mum doesnt let her get too obese smile and that she can have a baby...

Kaz well currently she is with mum and dad but if shes up here with me she would also go back to mum and dads until a suitable rider can be found

My cat also goes to my parents LOL

Cats go to the parents (assuming Ben isn't around!) and the horses, well kind of tricky - the two padddock layabouts I think I have sussed but since then I have got Oscar who is (my) once in a lifetime horse. Not sure what I'd do about him. Thinking about it, I reckon he'd be a bloody good RDA pony... fairly quiet, sturdy, still young. Hmmm. Maybe I should update the will! I am sure Ellie would make sure Oscar was all ok though. Cattle would just be sold on, and as for the chooks and goats... god help anyone who takes them on!
