This lovely big mare was bred at Warpaint Stud.
She is by Ruatoria Pache (Gisborne Bred) out of Lace who I believe to be TB.
Measured at home with a tape at 16. 1 hh. She is a reasonably solidly built mare.

She is a lovely soft natured mare but with a sensitive edge to her. Brilliant to handle on the ground in every way. Floats easily, travels well, great to tie up, wash and good to trim feet etc. Fantastic on the lunge and nice natured in the paddock with others.
She has shoes on but we suspect it may have been her first time. She was a bit fidgety but otherwise good.

She had a history of bucking before we bought her. Has been seen by a chiropracter, had teeth done and been started over.

Recently she has been out on 2 horse treks including the Kaimanawa trek at Waiouru recently. Saturdays ride was 10 hrs long! And just had quite a bit of hacking around the farm (3,500 acres)
We put a ribbon in her tail on the first trek at Rangitoto, just as a precaution to keep people away, but she was not bothered at all by others around her.

She still needs a confident and capable rider but all the basics are done now and she is ready to move on to a new home.

Kinda like a great big over grown pony really.

Laps up all the attention you ever want to give her but has that wee bit of a cheeky thing going on.

Will miss her when she goes. She is easy to have around and nice to look at :-)
