Attitude adjustment required LOL.

Poor wee Smokey, none of the horses have been caught for brushing or riding or anything since I crapped off Mac and Smokey objects to being caught now once he's been let into the backyard for some grass. Today saw him try to escape me and put himself in the pen with knee high grass (and a gate the dumb bugger)

So gate got shut and he went round and round the yard until his attitude adjusted to my satisfaction. He then got let out and mummy isn't dumb so for the 3rd day he also got left to graze the back yard with a lead rope dragging around with him LOL.

just bought a new helmet today (and some Alleviate to cover all bases, it's been rainy weather and the horses have demolished the last of the salt block they had and a bucket of salt would just dissolve LOL) and will do some attitude adjustments via ground work with both of them now and will ride next week.

Weather is still sucky (bloody cold here today!) and forecast for more rain over the next week damn it all.

Smokey has a lesson with Jody H next Wed so will get on him before that, and see if the Alleviate makes any difference to Mac because he's just in stress city at the moment.

Ever tried giving a horse a double dose of that stuff in a handful of chaff with a couple of pellets???? Took me 3/4 hr to forcefeed 2 horses a handful of chaff each!

YAY, 10 mins of ground work yesterday, 1 min of a quick lunge in the saddle and then on and off we went.

Little sausage has developed a head flick!!!! LOL he does it because he forgets he can snort, I have to keep reminding him to snort instead! Flick - reminder - snort - circle - flick - reminder - snort - circle hehehehe
