hi all, im new to these sites so bear with me...I dont even know if I'm in the right place!! anyways a little about myself..I have a 9yr old clydie/tb cross gelding called Ted, He is the most absolute coolest dude and looks after me like you wouldnt believe!I am an older rider that has only been back in the saddle for about 6 years after a long absence, I brought ted as a 4/5 yr old and we have grown together over this time as great mates, he does wonderful dressage and we might get out and get serious this year..heres hoping!!

hi teds mum, newbie here too!!! Love the site Rachael!

I'm in the sunny south (Blenheim!) where you can still spot the odd horse amongst the hectares of grapes LOL.

I have 3 darlings, a nervous nelly TB who is happy being relegated to paddock ornament/baby sitter. My main man Mac a dun stationbred who at the moment I'm doing dressage on and my wee darling Smokey a Kai who came out of the 2008 muster and as a technical 4 yr old is going beautifully under saddle! A real dude :o)

Hi Teds mum! You are in the right place and welcome! I've been riding for just over 4 years now as an adult, so I definately know how it feels, somehow I'm not as brave as I remember being as a child on a pony! LOL.

What are comps like up in Rotorua? Do you have to travel far?

@ KA Raz you never told me you had a Dun! I LOVE Dun's, in fact my first horse we got 4 years ago was a Dun, unfortunately she 'broke' after a couple of weeks. :-( Dun's are still my fave.

Smokey sounds like he's going to be awesome, you must be pretty excited.

you haven't been perving at the gallery on the website or the blog then wink

His colour is the reason I bought him LOL, wasn't looking for a 3rd horse at the time, but he was a meant to be and had to be a dun to catch my eye hehehe.

Hey Karen your horse sounds like mine, goes well when I do!!! LOL You'd think that maybe they'd bluff it sometimes and get us thru it!! Wait, I think mine do that anyway!
